You must take two Bankruptcy Class courses in order to file a Chapter 13 or Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.  The first bankruptcy class course must be taken prior to filing or the case is automatically dismissed.   The first Bankruptcy class cannot be taken online to our knowledge, is normally taken by phone and lasts about one hour.  We prefer financiallit.org for your first class.

If the second bankruptcy class course is not taken prior to the case closing then no discharge order is entered.  A person would have to pay a second filing fee and additional attorney fees to reopen the case to file it after the case closes without the second class certification being filed. The class provider often fails to forward the class certification to your attorney.

The second bankruptcy class course may be taken online and if persons are operating on a budget your bankruptcy class may be taken online at AAApersonalfinance.com for about $15.00 dollars.

However remember it is the responsibility of the debtor to get the second bankruptcy debtor education class certificate to the attorney

If you wish to file a bankrupcy with our office you may input your bankruptcy information online.  Input your social below and you will be taken to our secure online server then collect the required documents and make an appointment with us.
